The no-surprises promise

No more finding out after you've paid

Crash pads aren't the problem. Not knowing what you're walking into is. Here's what we're building Crash Pad Rentals around from day one.

Verified crew, both sides

Renters and hosts will confirm they're working airline crew before they can book or list. No anonymous strangers asking for a deposit.

Real photos of every bed

Each listing will need current photos of every bed, bathroom, kitchen and the entrance. No stock shots, no "staged three years ago."

The full price, up front

Rent, deposit, any fees and the notice period will be on the listing before you book. No surprise deposits or move-out terms later.

Payment held until check-in

You'll pay through the platform, and the host gets paid after you've checked in and seen the place. No cash or Venmo to someone you've never met.

Honest bed counts

Hosts will list exactly how many beds are in each room and how many people share each bathroom, so you won't walk into an overbooked bunk room.

No pressure to pay today

No countdown timers or "someone else is interested, send the deposit now." You'll have time to look, ask questions and decide.

Crash Pad Rentals is still in testing, so these are the standards we're building for launch, not features that are running yet.

What every listing will show

The details crew actually ask about

The things you'd normally have to dig for in a Facebook thread will be required on every listing.

FAQ

Questions crew ask

Is Crash Pad Rentals live yet?

Not yet. We're testing now and launching in Salt Lake City first. Join the early list and we'll email you when listings open. There are no bookings or payments on the site today.

How will you verify that people are crew?

Before anyone can book or list, we'll ask them to confirm they're working airline crew. We'll share exactly how verification works before launch.

When will I actually pay?

You'll book and pay through the platform, and the host will be paid after you've checked in. You'll see the full price, deposit and notice period on the listing before you book.

Will there be pilot-only or women-only pads?

Yes, that's the plan. Hosts will be able to say who their pad is for, and you'll be able to filter for it along with quiet pads and AM or PM schedules.

Does it cost anything to join the list?

No. The early list is free, and we'll only email you about the launch.

Are you connected to an airline?

No. Crash Pad Rentals is an independent company and isn't affiliated with any airline.
